A fun fort I built for my kids

About five years ago I had an “itch” I had to “scratch”. I wanted to build a fort for the kids. I had built one in a tree in our old house but we didn’t have a big enough tree to handle a big fort. I designed it 10 by 10 with a 6 ft ceiling on the bottom floor. I bought the slide from a swing set manufacture in North Houston. We all worked on it for weeks and finally the kids had a backyard place to call home. I attached a zip line in the back – more pictures to come of that. We have had lots of fun memories in the fort, sleep-overs, picnics and hideouts. I guess I’m just a kid at heart still. You never out grow a fort!
