Beautiful potato leaves
-
My yukon potatoes are doing very well in my raised garden boxes. I have never known what their leaves looked like until I had the chance to see them up close. I don’t list that in my benefits of having the beds higher, but I do love getting an up-close look at everything I grow. I took these pictures yesterday afternoon, and am including a few from last week when a big wind storm pushed one of the plants over. I didn’t pick it up or stake it, I thought it was best to leave it alone. The next step is waiting for them to flower. I am so tempted to dig and see what is going on under the soil, but I will be patient. Patience usually isn’t one of my virtues, but I try! While I wait I stay fascinated by the leaves, they are so interesting and beautiful. I love the pattern of big and little leaves on the stem.

Hmm it appears like your blog ate my first comment (it was extremely long) so I guess I’ll just sum it up what I wrote and say, I’m thoroughly enjoying your blog. I too am an aspiring blog writer but I’m still new to the whole thing. Do you have any points for inexperienced blog writers? I’d genuinely appreciate it.
