Happy Easter with pictures from my garden
-
Happy Easter! I had a wonderful Easter Sunday with my family. It was a beautiful day and late this afternoon we got a short shower to water my garden for me.
I took these pictures in my garden this past week to share an update on how everything is growing. I planted basil from seed about three weeks ago and it is finally coming up. The orange blossoms are loosing their leaves only to reveal the start of lots of tiny oranges. It is a tiny green bud, but it is an orange! Last year over half fell off before maturing, so it is exciting to see what I will get this year. My thornless blackberry bushes have come alive and shortly they will be intertwined on their trellis. I get handfuls here and there of strawberries and my spinach so freely comes back as quick as I can cut it. Wishing you a wonderful start of a new week and hoping spring arrives for you soon!
If you are new to my website, here are the benefits of gardening my way. Also check out older posts to see what else I grow.

I love this Idea. I grow basil and mint chives and parsley on my back porch and they do very well on the bannister in boxes sold at our store that sells things like that. I want to expand the way you have with lettuce and the other things you grow that way. thanks for inspiring me to go big.
