Bluebonnets emerge

About three months ago I planted bluebonnet seeds. I soaked them for days in hot water and noticed some of the hard shelled husks opened up.
Here they are coming up. I have always loved seeing bluebonnets on the highways in the hill country of Texas. I can’t wait to have one in a pot.
I bought my seeds online at Amazon but just purchased some smaller packets for gifts at HEB.
