Homemade garden stakes
-
One of my favorite Christmas gifts this year are these plant markers my daughter made for me. I have tried many different ideas over the past year, but most fade in the sun. She is in a ceramics class at BYU and thought I would like them. She said she used recycled clay fired at cone 10 (for those of you that know about clay). She used a sharpie and wrote the names of what I grow in my garden and then baked them in the oven for 30 minutes at 350 degrees. I love them because they are adorable, durable, and she made them.

I love these! What a great gift. They would be so cute on my market plants.
thanks yes I love them! I have tried so many markers and they all fade over time in the sun, so I am super excited to have these. so fun! Good luck with your market plants. take care,
Melanie
Those are really cool, and I know that they are very special. I always enjoyed receiving homemade things. Because they thought about me while working on the project. Lucky you.
