My first red ripe strawberry!

One of my favorite children’s books is The Big Hungry Bear by Don and Audrey Wood. I read it to my kids when they were little and read it to my grandson now. When I picked my first strawberry I gave it to him and he loved eating it. I have more strawberries blooming and just planted two new plants today. I got them from Donna Faye at Sweet Organic Solutions in Pearland, Texas. I am loving this warm weather, today was just amazing and I planted some new plants and loved being in my garden. Many more red ripe strawberries to come in the spring!
